About the Role
Zycus is looking for a Content Marketing Manager who does more than produce content: someone who builds a differentiated point of view that cuts through the noise in an era where AI makes content abundant and undifferentiated.
In a world where every company can generate articles, whitepapers, and social posts at scale, what earns attention is an original perspective grounded in real customer insight, analyst intelligence, and domain depth. You will mine customer conversations, analyst reports, and market signals to develop POVs that only Zycus can credibly own.
This role owns the end-to-end content strategy for Zycus, creating content that educates, engages, and converts enterprise procurement leaders, while ensuring that content is distributed, adopted, and continuously improved through a strong feedback loop.
You will work closely with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Sales, and Customer Success to translate complex AI-driven procurement solutions into compelling stories. Everything you create will be written for humans first, but built to perform on search and AI-powered discovery engines.
Key Responsibilities
1. Differentiated Point of View & Thought Leadership
• Develop and own Zycus's editorial POV on AI-powered procurement, Agentic AI, and the Intake-to-Outcomes category.
• Mine customer calls, analyst reports (Gartner, Forrester, Ardent Partners), and competitive intelligence to surface non-obvious insights for original thought leadership.
• Produce high-impact formats: whitepapers, POV blogs, LinkedIn thought leadership, webinars, and customer case studies.
2. AI-First Content Strategy
• Build and execute an AI-powered content strategy aligned with Zycus's growth goals.
• Use generative AI to accelerate production and personalisation, while maintaining a human editorial voice and defensible point of view.
• Ensure packaging and presentation are optimised for the first moment of truth.
3. SEO, AEO & Organic Growth
• Develop content strategies with a dual focus on SEO and Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO), ensuring content surfaces across Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.
• Write for humans first; structure content to be clear, cited, and credible enough for AI search engines to reference.
• Collaborate with the digital marketing team to grow organic traffic and inbound lead generation.
4. Content Distribution, Adoption & MIS
• Own distribution across LinkedIn, website, email, industry publications, and sales touchpoints.
• Build an MIS to track pipeline contribution, engagement, organic traffic, conversion rates, and sales usage.
• Establish a reverse feedback loop from sales, SDRs, and customer success into the content roadmap.
5. Product & Sales Enablement
• Partner with Product Marketing to translate product capabilities into buyer-centric messaging.
• Develop enablement assets including battlecards, pitch decks, product explainers, and landing page copy, grounded in real customer language.
What We Are Looking For
• 6–8 years of experience in B2B SaaS content marketing
• Demonstrated ability to develop a differentiated editorial POV: not just produce content, but shape how a market thinks
• Experience analysing customer calls, analyst reports, and competitive intelligence to generate insight-driven content
• Strong storytelling and writing skills, for human readers first and optimised for search and AI discovery second
• Experience with SEO-driven content strategies; familiarity with AEO and AI search optimisation is a strong plus
• Proven track record of building content distribution systems and measuring adoption and impact
• Comfortable building MIS frameworks and feedback loops to track content performance and field usage
• Familiarity with AI content tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Jasper, etc.) as an accelerant, not a replacement for original thinking
• Experience working cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, and Sales teams
• Understanding of enterprise technology, SaaS, or AI platforms
Bonus Skills
• Experience marketing AI or enterprise software products
• Understanding of procurement, supply chain, or adjacent enterprise domains
• Experience with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) programmes
• Familiarity with marketing automation and analytics platforms
